It was a huge success in our campaign to raise toys for less privileged children in China last year.  Close to 5,000 children benefited from the campaign on the International Children Day.

Since the “Love Sharing Among Kids” campaign launched two years ago, more than 10,000 children in total have benefited from this campaign, which has obtained extremely good feedback from the society.? Through this campaign, we wish to advocate the meaning of toy donations, raise children’s environmental protection consciousness, and also to let children learn about sharing and caring.

This year, Smart Health Medical & Dental Center and HMMP (HK) Ltd supported the campaign again, together with Ladies Group of Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China. More less-fortunate kids have benefited this year and they’ve learned that youths in Hong Kong care about them and love to share their toys with their northern neighbours.。

Within two months, we have collected more than 10,000 toy items from Hong Kong and China. We received genuine support and participation from various organizations such as International School of Beijing, Beanstalk International Bilingual School, Eton Academy, Yew Chung International School of Beijing, 3e International Kindergarten, International Academy of Beijing, and Ivy Academy. All these international schools show their sincere support by helping us to collect toys at their schools while taking this opportunity to educate their school kids in this meaningful activity. The properties from Shunyi District also eagerly helped us to circulate our campaign information to their properties’ owners. Many commercial organizations, such as Motorola, Siemens, Bandai and HP…etc demonstrated participation in this event, too.

It was a memorable and touching moment for all the volunteers and us. We presented toys and love message cards to the children of the Zi Fen Xi Wang School, New Day Foster Home, and Tuan He School from May 30 to June 1, 2007, during the Children’s Day in China. On behalf of children of the above organizations, we would like to thank our supporting organizations: Ladies Group from Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China, Asian Tigers K. C. Dat (China) Ltd, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and also our genuine organizations and individual donators for their kind support to this campaign. We also thank Dr. Raymond Lee, specialist in Family Dentistry, from Smart Health Medical & Dental Center Co. Ltd for his participation and for broadcasting this importance message of treasures, and for encouraging the children to study well and happily stay healthy.

We, Smart Health wish to continue to be a “Messenger of Love”, to promote and facilitate kids to share their happiness and love with less fortunate kids through a continued sequence of events on Children’s Day each year. Through the events, we help enable all children to learn about sharing and caring.
